The Nature of Love According to Islam

Talking about love, who would not know about this? Who also never felt loved too be loved? Of course every person ever, isn't it?

Again because everyone is familiar with the name love and even very familiar with it, sure everyone can define love in accordance with creativity, experience each.

But when we talk about ' nature ' is a love, then we should be able to recognize love objectively. That is certainly the definition of love by restoring the appropriate understanding of that truth.

Allah SWT says, "you shall not follow something you have no knowledge about it. Indeed, sighthearing and heart will be asked for was to have. " (QS. Al-Israa ': 36)

The word of God that is the basis of the importance of love then we have to study in accordance with the fact, that we are not mistaken notion in defining as well as the practice of love.

In his great dictionary of Indonesian Language (KBBI) love is defined as a sense of pity, love, hope, hooked, and the like. While in Wikipedia love is defined as a positive feeling and given to humans or other objects.

Love is closely associated with life. Because every human being cannot live without a love. Everywhere we can find love. Even how could human beings born and thrive without a love that bore and build it?

So if indeed love is closely associated with life, it means that we must refer to the source direction in life and then we find the definition of the nature of a love.

Hence the question, whether the source is a clue of a life? Of course, as Muslims we hold fast to the Qur'an and As-Sunnah as a source of real life instructions.

Previous authors will first present some points about the traits of love according to Islam, which then afterwards we can conclude that the definition of the nature of a love according to Islam. As for the characteristics are as follows:

1. Sensitive to Name

As the word of Allah SWT, "Verily, those who believe are those who in the name of God called trembled their hearts." (QS. Al-Anfaal: 2)

2. Increasingly Interact more and Love

As the word of Allah SWY, "Verily, those who believe are those who ... when recited his verses and then no one can." (QS. Al-Anfaal: 2)

3. The attitude of being willing to sacrifice

As the word of Allah SWT, "Verily, those who believe are those who ... always surrender myself to God." (QS. Al-Anfaal: 2)

"And among mankind there are people who sacrificed himself because of looking for means to God, and God Most Compassionate to his servants." (QS. Al-Baqarah: 207)

4. Always Remember

As the word of Allah SWT, "(that is) those who believe and their hearts into the serene by remembering Allah. Remember, just by remembering Allaah hearts be at peace. "(QS. AR-Ra'd: 28)

5. Obey/Obedient

As the word of Allah SWT, and "say (Muhammad):" If you (really) love Allah, follow me,God loves and forgive your sins. " God most Forgiving again Most Merciful. " (QS. Ali-Imran: 31)

Well, from the above characteristics roughly already we can conclude yet on the nature of a love? Or had not thought heck why paragraph above most mentions "people of faith"?

Yes, because it is the nature of a love is closely related to the faith. Such is the conclusion.
